Is an online will legally binding in Nigeria?
A will has to be signed and witnessed correctly to be valid, and a qualified lawyer should confirm what applies to you. Wills.ng doesn't offer lawyer review or signing yet, so for now it helps you organise your wishes and prepare for that step.
Do I need a lawyer?
Yes, legal advice is strongly recommended. While this platform helps you inventory your assets and structure your preferences, a qualified lawyer should review your circumstances to make sure your will meets the legal requirements that apply to you.
Can I update my plans later?
Yes. Your life changes, and your plan should too. You can update your inventory and preferences at any time in your dashboard to ensure your records remain current.
What happens to my data?
Your information is encrypted in transit and at rest, and it's shown only in your own account. We do not sell your data. You can download a copy of your records at any time from Settings.
